We love to see °®Éñ´«Ã½ students following in their family member's footsteps. If you're an °®Éñ´«Ã½ alumnus, and you have a family member (child, grandchild, or parent of an alum) currently enrolled in an °®Éñ´«Ã½ program, they are eligible to apply for the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Family Scholarship.

This Scholarship has been established to support and encourage the next wave of °®Éñ´«Ã½ alumni members while giving back to the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni family. We are pleased to award four scholarships annually to family members of past °®Éñ´«Ã½ graduates.

Four $1,000 °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Family Scholarships will be awarded to current °®Éñ´«Ã½ Students each year.

°®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni provides these Scholarships as a benefit and a gesture of appreciation to our alumni and future alumni.

To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be the family member¹ of an °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni (family members of °®Éñ´«Ã½ staff are not eligible);
• Be enrolled in an °®Éñ´«Ã½ program for the current academic year², with a focus on their previous term grades;
• Have demonstrated community/volunteer service;
• Maintain good academic standing;
• Submit their most recent °®Éñ´«Ã½ term transcript;
• Have a minimum of 85% average or higher on their most recent °®Éñ´«Ã½ term transcript;
• Submit a brief essay about what it means to follow in a close family member's (parent, grandparent, sibling, step-parent, etc.) footsteps at °®Éñ´«Ã½.

Selection Process

There will be two °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Family Scholarship Selection Periods.

Winter Application Window - Two $1,000 Scholarships - Applications are open from December 15 to February 15.

Spring Application Window - Two $1,000 Scholarships - Applications are open from April 1 to May 31

• Nominations will be requested twice per year, with deadlines of February 15 & May 31.
• Nomination forms and submission instructions will be available via the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni and °®Éñ´«Ã½ website.
• The selection committee will consist of an °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni member, the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Coordinator, and the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Administrative Assistant.
• The committee will review the applications and make a recommendation to the VP of Engagement & Experience by February 28.

Recognition

• The selected recipients will receive the award at their relevant campus.
• Parents/Grandparents of the award recipients will be invited to present the award when possible.
• Recipient stories may be featured on the °®Éñ´«Ã½ website and social media.
• Confirmation of current student enrollment will be required prior to awarding the Scholarship.

Value

• Four scholarships valued at $1,000 each will be awarded annually.
• Two $1,000 scholarships in the winter application period & two $1,000 scholarships in the spring application period.
• The funds for the scholarship are generated from revenues earned annually by the °®Éñ´«Ã½ Alumni Office.
